Limits and costs
An open chat costs money with every question – so it has limits on several levels.
Without signing in
Anyone can ask the Spotfinder, even without an account. Because no account carries these questions, they have daily limits of their own: per visitor, per internet connection and for all visitors together. The chat shows what is left of the day. Whoever wants to ask more signs in – and then finds their conversations again too.
With an account
Signed-in people have a daily budget of tokens and requests, graded by account level. Once it is used up, the question is refused at the door – not after the lookup and the model have been paid for. An answer still being written ends when the budget is reached while it is written, and says so.
Per minute and at once
A per-minute rate limit keeps a script from setting off many answers in a short time, and one person can only have a few answers running at the same time.
The tenant
Above that are the tenant’s ceilings per day and month. They apply to all its agents and accounts together and are checked before every answer and before every further tool round.
Per answer
Every answer has a maximum length and a maximum number of tool rounds. The tools return compact, rounded results, because every character is read and paid for again in the next round.
Traceable
Every round, every lookup and every tool call is booked and logged – with model, tokens and cost. So every answer can be traced and every limit adjusted in operation, without shipping new software.
Does this fit your plans?
Tell me in a few sentences what it is about – process, data, goal. We will sort out the rest in a conversation.
